Hello 2013

2012 was an amazing year, we are so blessed to meet and work with so many great people. Telling your stories is what we love to do and we are overwhelmed with the joy all of you have brought to our lives.

We traveled to nine countries filming and teaching, Turks and Caicos, Australia, New Caledonia, Brazil, Thailand, UK, Italy, India and Costa Rica. We are inspired by new places, people, landscapes and architecture all of which breathes life into our work.

We started our new commercial venture The Delivery Men which has been a huge success! We worked with some awesome companies - Jump Shot, I/O Denim, Hansar Hotels, The Andy Roddick Foundation and Panasonic to name a few. We are loving this new creative outlet and can't wait to see where it takes us.

2013 is already looking like another amazing year, we are ready for the ride and hope you are too!

Lindsey & Andrew's Wedding Highlights - Dallas, Texas

Lindsey & Andrew's wedding was such a love filled event. Three days of fun and laughter took place at a private estate outside of Dallas, Texas. We had an amazing time filming their wedding, there were so many great details and beautiful locations to film. Here is a quick look at their wonderful wedding day!

Elizabeth & Todd's Wedding Highlights

Elizabeth & Todd's wedding took place at Rough Creek Lodge, it was an amazing weekend! We had the pleasure of working with them for three days and documenting everything as it happened.

Elizabeth and Todd grew up riding horses, they have both been cutting champions and that is how they met. So what better place to get married then on a beautiful ranch. They had the ceremony in a wonderful chapel at sunset followed by a gorgeous reception created by Stage Works and DFW Events. The entire stage and decor was built from scratch, it was amazing! Cuvee kept everyone dancing the night away until the big surprise.

Just after the cake cutting the fireworks started to light up the sky, one of the best firework shows I've seen, spectacular!

Elizabeth + Todd's Story

We had the amazing pleasure of filming Elizabeth and Todd's wedding at Rough Creek Ranch this past weekend. It was an beautiful wedding and we can't wait to share it on the blog next week.
For the rehearsal dinner we created a film that would tell the story of their journey, how they met and fell in love. Below is their fun love story featuring a ranch, horses and some funny stories!

The Delivery Men

We've been super busy this summer filming weddings, commercials, teaching and traveling all across the world. So far this summer we have been to Australia, New Caledonia, Brazil, Thailand and now we are headed to London for a wedding this weekend. It's been an awesome year. 

There are a few things I wanted to share with you. First we have started a new commercial filmmaking company called THE DELIVERY MEN, we're super excited about this as it's a new creative outlet for us and diversity helps us to keep creating amazing wedding films. Brie + Michael's Wedding Trailer - Hyatt Lost Pines, Austin, TX

Brie and Michael had an incredibly beautiful wedding this past weekend. The location was Hyatt Lost Pines just outside of Austin, Texas. The wedding was put together by CLINK, and what a job they did! Everything was perfect, from the grass hill ceremony to the after party dance club, no detail was left untouched.

There were so many details and events we could not show in this trailer but it's a great teaser for their upcoming Short Film. What a perfect day it was!

Shannon & Steven's Wedding Trailer - Dallas Museum of Art

Amory & Jordan's Wedding Film - Old Glory Ranch, Wimberly, TX

Old Glory Ranch is an beautiful place to have a wedding, I love venues with a mix of indoor and outdoor space. Amory and Jordan with the help of Carey (Bash Events) really used it all. There were so many amazing details that made up their day, everything from the wine boxes that held the invitations to the stain glass windows hanging by the ceremony site.

Amory and Jordan met when they were younger at at church event, they were playing dodge ball and Amory was able to get Jordan out. Jordan said that any girl that can throw that good is the girl for me. That's when their journey began and now a few years later they are celebrationg their union with family and friends.

This day was perfect, great couple, weather, venue, family and friends. Putting all the details together created an amazing experience for everyone involved. I love working with my couples and documenting their stories.

Lacey + Chris's Wedding Trailer - Fort Worth, TX

Lacey + Chris were married at Van Cliburn Studio at Bass Hall in Fort Worth Texas followed by the reception at the Fort Worth Modern Art Museum. It was a perfect day in Fort Worth and we had amazing time sharing in their love. Congratulations Lacey + Chris!

Jose & Joel's Wedding Highlights - Los Olivos, CA

Joel and Jose are amazing people, they are so much in love. I was so flattered that they asked us to film their wedding, being artists themselves it was the highest compliment! 

They were married at Figueroa Mountain Farmhouse in Los Olivos, CA. The place was so beautiful and had a lot of history for Joel and Jose, it was where they had their first date. It was the perfect place for their wedding! 
Lisa Vorce of  Oh, How Charming put together the design of the event, it was amazing. There were so many details, from the Leather napkin wraps, finished with wax seals, to the vintage J button boutonnieres, everything was handmade and perfect!
It was awesome to work alongside Elizabeth Messina from Kiss the Groom documenting Joel and Jose that day, we made a great team and had a lot of laughs!
I love documenting true love, and that is what this wedding was, true head-over-heals love!

Linda + Vu's Wedding Highlights - Hearst Castle

Wow Wow Wow! This wedding was so fabulous! Linda and Vu put so much time and thought into creating their perfect dream wedding. Michelle Groom from Mele Amore did an amazing job of pulling everything together to make this event to die for. There are very few weddings that happen at Hearst Castle and when Linda and Vu decided this is where they wanted to have their wedding they would not take no for an answer. They jumped through lots of hoops and finally Hearst said yes and the wedding was on!

There are so many amazing aspects about this wedding, from the beautiful Vera Wang dress and Louboutin shoes to the very touching personal vows they wrote for each other. Nothing was overlooked and this meant for an unforgettable event for the guests as well as the best day in Linda and Vu's life!

Grab some tissues, this one is going to take you on an emotional roller coaster!

Ashley + Dave's Wedding Highlights - Positano, Italy

What an amazing time we had filming Ashley + Dave's wedding in Positano, Italy. They wanted to have an small intimate wedding and what better place then a secluded town on the Almafi coast in Italy. Positano is simply breathtaking, and seeing Ashley and Dave driving down the coast on the Vespa was awesome!

The day was a fairytale for Ashley and Dave, from the getting ready at Le Sirenuse to the boat ride along the coast everything was perfect. I could not have asked for a better location or couple to work with, thanks for having us be apart of your amazing day!

Audree + Matt's Wedding Highlights - Saddlerock Ranch in Malibu, CA

Audree + Matt's amazing wedding took place at Saddlerock Ranch in Malibu, CA. This dream wedding among the vineyards was beautifully created by So Happi Together. Audree + Matt put so much thought and planning into their wedding, from all the perfectly crafted paper details to the horse feeding area for the guests there was so much to take in!

Adele + Carl's Wedding Trailer - Florence, Italy

Adele and Carl's wedding took place in beautiful Florence Italy! It was so amazing! They are from the UK but on a visit to Florence they fell in love and decided to have their wedding there. The Ceremony was held at Orsanmichele in downtown Florence, followed by the reception at Villa Olmi.

As some of you may know, a few times a year I will teach workshops on how to create the amazing wedding films. Kevin Shahinian and myself have been teaming up for the past year to put on one of the best training courses, it's called Event Cinema Workshop.

Karen + Graham's Wedding Trailer - Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Karen and Graham's wedding took place at Cabo Azul in Los Cabos, Mexico. It was a beautiful setting to have an intimate destination wedding.

Planning a wedding in another country is not easy. When it all comes together and you are on the beach having the time of your life's with your closest family and friends, you know it was all worth it!

Yamilet + Jordan's Wedding Highlights - San Juan, Puerto Rico

Happy New Year!

For the last day of the year I want to share with you Yamilet + Jordan's Highlights film. I have held this back because they wanted to share it with their family during Christmas before it went online. They said it was wonderful to watch it with all their love ones and relive the day together!

This wedding was simply amazing and fun. Yamilet is from Puerto Rico and Jordan is from New Orleans. They combined both of their worlds for this one of a kind celebration.

Kelly + Brian's Wedding Trailer

Kelly & Brian contacted me last year about filming their wedding in Dayton, Ohio. Brian is a wedding filmmaker, so I was very flattered that they wanted us to film their day.

Kelly & Brian's wedding took place at Carillon Historical Park. It's comprised of old buildings and antique trains as well as other pieces of Dayton history.
